Caroline Kealey, B.A. Honours, M.A.
Chief Executive Officer
Caroline is nationally recognized as an expert communications strategist, speaker, trainer, facilitator and author. She has provided stewardship for the company's growth since she founded the firm in 2001. Fluently bilingual, Caroline has over 20 years of experience in her field.
An expert in communications strategy design, Caroline has developed over 300 strategies for a range of clients in the public, association/not-for-profit and private sectors. She brings a unique blend of communications, marketing, evaluation and facilitation expertise to all client projects. Most recently, she spearheaded the communications strategy for Canada's response to the Conficker C computer worm, the most virulent attack in the history of the Internet.
Caroline is the developer of the Results Map™, an innovative tool designed to engineer communications strategies to deliver measurable results.
Her experience and insights into professional communications has led to an extensive practice in the area of training and workshop facilitation, including major joint Canada-U.S. sessions. Caroline is a core trainer and curriculum designer for the Canada School of Public Service and also delivers customized workshops, presentations and retreats across Canada. She has taught at the University of Ottawa, The Canadian Institute, the Canadian Public Relations Society and the National Communicators Conference.
Author of IABC's Web Strategy Template, she has also published nationally and internationally on topics such as measurement, social media and results-based strategic communications planning.
Prior to opening her consultancy in 2001, Caroline served in a variety of senior communications roles at Nortel Networks, Ottawa Economic Development, the Canadian Medical Association as well as several federal government departments.
Caroline is a winner of a Top 40 Under 40 Award as well as several provincial and national awards for communications and marketing strategies including a first place Hygeia Award for Excellence in Health Communications.
In addition to her extensive specialized training in organizational development, coaching, evaluation and Web communications, Caroline holds a B.A. with Highest Honours in Communications and an M.A. in Canadian Politics and Political Philosophy.

Cori Porter
Director of Operations
The most recent addition to Ingenium's team is Cori Porter. Cori is a seasoned business executive and senior project manager with more than 20 years of experience within the Information Technology sector. In addition to her mandate to streamline corporate business operations, Cori will spearhead the product development and launch of Ingenium's Results Map suite of tools.
Prior to joining Ingenium, Cori spent the last three years as Vice-President of a publicly traded national IT staffing firm with more than $85 million in annual revenue. She has an impressive background of managing large-scale integrated IT projects with contract values in excess of $100 million and project teams topping more than 100 resources. Cori also spent several years leading a marketing and business development team for one of Canada's largest Systems Integration firms, CGI, where she was responsible for managing proposal teams supporting a sales funnel in excess of $370 million annually.
A skilled strategist, Cori has a reputation for taking action to achieve results. Her extensive experience ranges from business process re-engineering, methodology development and implementation, delivery of technical and management training, to human resource management. With Masters Certification in Project Management from George Washington University, she brings with her an established practice in risk assessment and risk management, as well as proven methodologies for project recovery and remediation.
Paul Tomascik, M.B.A., B.Sc.F.
Senior Strategist
Paul is an accomplished business performance analyst and measurement specialist. His skill-sets span 18 years of dynamic marketing and communications applications and consumer and business-to-business database analytics and research experience. Serving governments, associations, non-profit organizations, packaged-goods companies, financial service firms and crown corporations, his professional philosophy is anchored in distilling relevant information from proven research techniques and developing focused and customized solutions.
Paul has successfully led projects for many of Ingenium's clients including the Canadian Medical Association, the Canadian Forest Service and Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, to name a few.
He created Canada Post's (CPC) highly successful brand for small business, VentureOne™ that put CPC on the map with the highly demanding segment. The VentureOne business model was based on a database direct-marketing program tracked with a rigorous performance measurement system. A flagship program, it generated a quarter of a million small business customers in four years, double digit sales growth and the best customer satisfaction scores across all lines of business - its results measured from its own performance framework that was easy to use and entirely managed by in-house personnel.
He teaches customer relationship management in the MBA program at the University of Ottawa's Telfer School of Management and strategic marketing in the undergraduate program.
Paul holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. An experienced commercial pilot, he also teaches ground school at the Rockcliffe Flying Club and has published numerous articles for the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA).
Beverly Doraty, B.A.
Communications Consultant
Beverly is instrumental in building Ingenium's reputation for consistently delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget. A seasoned coordinator, she develops and manages projects and work plans for integrated project teams. Her expertise in research, data compilation and report design contributes to the success of large-scale communications projects. Beverly has played a key role managing Ingenium's client projects including those for the Canadian Medical Association, the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, Industry Canada, the Canadian Pharmacists Association, the Privy Council Office, and MD Financial to name a few.
Beverly has over 15 years of experience in the private and public sectors having held marketing coordination and project management positions in Morrison Lamothe Inc. and the Ottawa Economic Development Corporation.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University and serves on the Board of the Charlotte Birchard Centres of Early Learning.
Denyse Trask
Office Manager
Denyse plays a significant role in fulfilling Ingenium's commitment to quality, innovation and outstanding client service. She has an exceptional facility for understanding and meeting the priorities and objectives of internal and external stakeholders. Denyse is instrumental in coordinating and managing internal and external demands, while helping to bring projects to successful completion. Her talents have been instrumental in the successful delivery of many of Ingenium's client projects including the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Canada School of Public Service and MD Financial.
Denyse has over 15 years of experience in the private and public sectors having held executive assistant and project management positions at OCRI's Entrepreneurship Centre, CHEO, Morrison Lamothe Inc. and the Ottawa Economic Development Corporation.
Kim Kelly
Project Manager
Kim Kelly is a seasoned project manager, with over 25 years of progressive experience acquired in the association and private sectors. Her skills include program development, event production, management and system design.
Kim has earned a reputation for excellence in project management and client service. She has the experience and expertise to manage multiple, complex projects ensuring that they are delivered on time, on budget and on target. Her clients have included the Ottawa Executives' Association, the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, the Canadian Medical Association and Academy of Medicine Ottawa. She has successfully managed several major Ingenium Communications assignments, including large scale marketing events, research and analysis deliverables, communications audits and strategies.
She is past General Manager of the Ottawa Board of Trade working closely with the Board of Directors, policy committees and membership.
Kim teaches Planning and Operations, Trade Show Management and Practical Projects, for the Convention and Meetings Management Certificate Program at Algonquin College.
